This blog, entitled ‘Her Legacy’, is intended to highlight the stories of females by painting the vividest of pictures of greatness, perseverance, grit, gracefulness, independence, disappointment...because the stories of women come just like them- in all shades, shapes and sizes. Each of us may indeed come from different backgrounds, but one common thread is the fact that our stories were influenced by our womanhood. Taking a moment to tell our stories may allow for another powerful female to live in her truth and authenticity. On the flip side, listening to the story of another can open up so many doors. By being open to stepping out of the show-that is the life of (insert your name here) you can gain perspective and enrich your life in unimaginable ways.
